As for myself... I have been last for 2 races in a row, and going to a track I finished last in this past spring... how do you like those apples???
This Weekend
Ford teams tend to be good choices at this track. This also tends to be a track where Jimmie gets his championship run going every year. This spring, who made the two tire call at the end (Matt Kenseth) decided the race.
Roush Fenway Racing
Matt Kenseth and Carl Edwards are a pair of great picks!! New Hampshire was lucky for them as they kept the fuel load going, but Dover is probably the best Ford track in the chase, and if a Ford driver is going to win the championship, they all but have to win Dover.
Biffle ran good at New Hampshire.. he's good at going on a tear. His luck this year makes me hesitate for picking him anywhere. Ragan surprised me at New Hampshire too.
Hendrick Motorsports
Not a bad pick from this group!! Actually, the bad choice might even be Jimmie Johnson. He has gone to two strong races, and he hasn't had very good luck. He had a fair run going at Hampshire, and Busch screwed him after he almost wrecks Busch... he rusn out of gas at Chicagoland, and Dover was a track where the 4 tire call messed him up in the spring. Jeff Gordon is good here, but hasn't won this place in years (he hadn't won Atlanta or Pocono in a while either though), and he's running great right now!!! Mark MArtin and Dale Jr. keep slipping into some good runs. Martin was good until he had that tire go down at Hampshire... .just more of his luck this year.
Childress RAcing
So maybe not all the money is going into Harvick? Still wonder if Childress is trying to hold on to Bowyer. I still think Harvick is the main man from this camp right now. Whether I like it or not, the man is running consistently well, and he is a great pick right now.
Stewart Haas Racing
Tony Stewart is 2 for two in the chase, but I do'nt know about Dover for him. He hasn't been great here in recent years. Ever since he crashed in '08, he just hasn't had the solid consistent runs at this track. I'd look for him to do good, but not great. Of cours,e he could slide into a 3rd win in a row too. Personally, I think the streak ends here. Newman... ehhh.
PEnske Racing
Brad Keseloski is cutting his average finishes in half everywhere he goes... the man is just lucky and on fire right now. Hard to deny that combination. If you take this spring finish of 13th, and add to that how lucky and how good he has been lately, that means a top 10 is coming his way. Kurt Busch just needs to have the car legla when he goes through inspection and he might be alright. This isn't a track I think of hwen I think Kurt Busch though.
Joe Gibbs Racing
On good years, this is a bad Dennis Hamster track. With his luck and the way he has run this year, I'm not looking for a lot out of him. Kyle Busch seems to always fall apart when the chase comes around. Dover is a good track for him in the spring. Joey has run good here every year except that time he rolled down teh corner.
Petty Racing
I had Allmendinger in the spring, nad that screwed me up. He ran top 5 until the engine expired, along with Paul Menard. Something about this track just suits Allmendinger. I might just roll my dice with him again this week!!!
Random @$$hats
Kasey Kahne and Martin Truex run well at Dover... this is Truex's only win track here, nad that team needs to do something to impress Clint Boywer.
My Picks
1) Carl Edwards
2) Matt Kenseth
3) A.J. Almendinger
Let's see this one flop over like a fart in the breeze!!
DISCLAIMER: With my running last in 2 of hte last 3 races, and running last in the last Dover race, these are the guys to RUN LIKE HELL FROM!!!

#5
So there is a lot of talk that Jimmie is in trouble if he wants to run for #6... 29 points out after 2 races. Personally, I think he is trying to give us all a false sense of hope.
And thus we go to Dover... practice/qualifying tomorrow!!
