I just got home. And boy, am I thirsty! I'm glad this got pushed to the night so I can watch Trackpass and post live to the forum! But the most important race on the planet being run Monday night seems really anti-climatic. The eventness has gone out of it and its something that they're just trying to get done. Doesn't really feel like a Great American race, but hopefully it will be a good one. Could be worse.

I think its cool that bblackstone's head is in this so much that the picks are changing for a night race. Nobody will really being able to predict the track conditions after the storms up.

 

Yeah, my hype has died off. I find myself agreeing with Brent for about the third time this week. That's a problem.


Phoenix thread will go up tomorrow afternoon. I just cna't bring myself to have it up while the Daytona 500 hasn't even been run up yet.


If anyone wants it, let me know, and I'll post it though.

We also have a record 22 particpant.s I'm getting excited.... I can't have alcohol on my breath when I go into the school tomorrow to teach. But I've got a BoBerry biscuit from Bojangles and some sweet tea ready to go when that green flag drops.

That's a 4th thing Brent says or does I agree with and am modeling after this week. What the hell is this world coming to?
