No road courses in the Chase. They only visit each road course (all 2 of them) once per year. I'd like to see them add Road America and the Villeneuve Circuit to Sprint Cup.

These mile-and-a-half tracks are a big boon for Nascar haters who wanna rip on Nascar cuz the cars "just drive in a circle". You get a race like Saturday's Nationwide race and I can't even counter their arguement. Looked like a bunch of circle driving to me. The cars don't even approach each other except on restarts.

I don't mind NewHampshire or Martinsville tho. Pretty good action there. I've been to Martinsville in person and found it difficult to follow when I was there - the field spreads out and blankets the entire track with everyone on different laps. Martinsville is better on tv

 

You just have to pay attention at Martinsville By the way, if you're that upset with all the non-freedoms in Canada as far as TV goes, and you feel like a southerner at heart, I know there are some homes and properties available here in NC... 7-8 month car show season, maybe 2-3 snowfalls a year and they shouldn't ever go over a foot, and your car would be loved and adored anywhere it goes, since this is Jr. country here, you know....

As far as the school system for your kid and health care go, well.... I don't know how that compares to Canada to be honest. Hear a lot of $hit both ways.

 

There's nothing wrong with American health care as far as I can tell. In fact it is another example of an additional freedom Americans have IMO. You can choose which health care program suits you best - we do not get to choose. We are stuck with one program that has been describe as the most inefficient corporation in the world and we do pay for it through heavy taxation. But no need to get into that here. If they ever readily open the border for me to move there, I will. I don't think the car alone will entice the US government enough to let me in. I supposed to have some desirable skill or something America needs...

Speaking of health care tho, I called in sick today! That means I'm actually able to watch the race if TSN will be so kind as to show it! I actually didn't just call in to watch the race - I have been sick all weekend. You guys must get sick of hearing me say I'm sick. A cold/ flu never passes me by. The cough isn't the worst part. I can't stop sweating profusely. Its really gross! I've actually lost 10 lbs in 4 days! That is pretty crazy for a featherweight like myself. Last week I was 182lbs and weighed in at 173lbs this morning. I need to get to those beers!!!

It's great that you will get to watch the race 2day & I hope you are feeling better by the time it starts...I hope it's broadcast on MRN or PRN radio 2day...(They do a super job calling the Race ) <~>do you get it on the radio up there in Canada ? I did get `up from my recharge yesterday to check on the race & learned it was delayed/then re-scheduled for today....

Yes, USA can get their own Health Insurance, but not to many can afford it...The poor can get a program called Medicaid for free...I pay $180 a month for full coverage : (

If ya wanna get over 150 'Space then ya gotta hit the bottle. Drink the red ones (or whatever has the best free toy inside). I barely cleared 150lbs until I turned 30, but I always enjoyed the extra agility and stamina that came with being a light weight and never really wanted to weigh more.

RaceBuddy will be showing the race online and I have TrackPass, so one way or another I could watch the race live. But if TSN is broadcasting it I probably won't actually watch live - I'll record it for later. Watching the race and getting drunk together is one of the ways my wife and I bond. She is at work and I'd feel like I was betraying her to watch without her. So once the race starts I'll have to stay off the forum (and offline altogether) so I don't know the outcome. If TSN isn't broadcasting then I'll have no choice but to watch it live online - sorry honey

I will chime in...155 here and I do eat anything I want. When I graduated, i weighed 120. Back in 82, so I am not doing too bad. Its that Budweiser on weekends. Just a clue- Bud Light doesnt make a difference IMO. I will check the thread after I watch the race this evening. Dont want any spoilers. No fun to watch if you kow the winner. Enjoy the race.

And sepaking of red drinks... love that paint job on Harvicks car. Guy is a bully and an @$$hole either way.... but I like his paint job today. PRobably one of the best paint jobs I've ever seen on his car.
