I just hope someone can do well reading my rundown... I don't write it for my health

But you and a couple other guys were riding that Kevin Harvick - Dale Earnhardt Jr. bandwagon at the beginning of the season when both were in the top 5 in points. As they fell, and I warned you that they had both lost their momentum, you guys kept on sticking it out and rode it to nearly a 100 point deficit to the overall points lead. Now you're sticking it out it seems. We'll see how ti works out for you

His was career was over at RCR as well. For reasons unbeknownst to me, he was always played out as the lowest on the totem pole on that team. RCR is screwed anyways and everything we said about Menard panned out. True, Menard won one - that was quite the miracle. But he is now 23rd in the points and only one RCR car made the Chase. Last year all the RCR cars made the Chase. Bowyer is worth 12 Menard's. Before Menard came along, Bowyer won a few races last year. I don't think Bowyer ever did or ever would get a fair shake at RCR.
That being said, yeah, hes going from the frying pan into the fire. MWR is hardly a team that should be looking at expanding. But Bowyer will be the best guy they got.

Lots of good drivers qualifed 20-30th place.... but I'm going with....

1) Matt Kenseth
2) Jimmie Johnson, since it is chase time (changed back after Nichols2k copied my picks)

Well, as part of my plight to see Junior win a Championship, I intend to leave him out of my picks. Except for Talladega - I intend to pick him to win there. Anyways, I still have faith in the Hendricks freight train. And Brad K is still on a roll and dominated one of the most boring Nationwide races in history at Chicagoland today. I hate this track almost as much as Kentucky.

1. Jimmie Johnson
2. Jeff Gordon
3. Brad Keslowski

I probably should have put some Roush guys in there, but to hell with it. Chicagoland will be the worst race of the Chase (unless Jr or Martin wins).

I'd also like to voice my opinion on the current Menard-cheating-to-get-Harvick-the-win conspiracy afoot. I hope this story hasn't gone too cold by next week, cause it would be a great poll question! Read this if you don't know what I speak of. I totally beleive Menard spun intentionally to give Harvick a chance. That is the second time this year they let Menard get away with cheating to get Harvick a win (see Charlotte where he broke running order to push Harvick and Burton around under caution). I guess this is how Menard "earns" his spot on this team, but it does not make me respect him anymore. He is the big loser on the track who's there to lift Harvick onto the pedestal. But it don't seem like racing to me - just a bunch of sinister ****. This is how RCR returns to its former glory...

This is the same team taht used to give Neal Bonnet a car to go out and run blocker for Dale Earnhardt in the last 80s and early 90s. I may just make that the poll question, could be an interesting one.

I do remember Menardpushing Burton and Harvick at Charlotte now that you mention it... but that wasn't the last lap, and techinically wasn't cheating.

But I do agree taht anyone who says that was a coincidence just isn't paying attention. If you believe if it was coincidence, then there is a California jury seat waiting for you.
