This is kind of a long stretch with no racing.... after two Saturday night races, we have to wait 8 days for a Sunday night race!! Anyone have anything exciting planned for Memorial Day here in the US?

Here is a good NASCAR related thing for you. How does Carl Edwards REALLY feel about the Ford Taurus?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwLMvRDlclc

^LINK^

Go to 15 seconds and see. Play it out for at least the 1:15 minute mark. Listen to what the guy on the walkie talkie says at about 1:10

For a lot of the video, Carl Edwards keeps trying to see if the people in the car know who he is. Some of them are alleged NASCAR fans and don't know him.

I was debating switching Kahne for Allmendinger, but I'll avoid it to avoid picking the same 3 as JuniorCar..

We'll see how it goes :P

If you look at the charts for this practice session, everyone was making qualifying runs. Tomorrow is when we will really see what everyone has.... in the day time. Storms are going to come through NC and "clean" teh race track so they start fresh. It may even rain out the Nationwide race. Hard to say how this will go. It will truly be a test to see which teams can endure and whcih teams can adjust their car for 1) as the track rubbers in and 2) as the sun sets and we go into the night.

Meanwhile, check out this tweet by Dennis Hamster.
