Classic NASCAR Photo of the Day

Anyone think we will have a crash like this in today's race at Bristol? Hopefully not taking out some of your picks in the process???

Scanned from Greg Fielden's NASCAR chronicle.

Today marks 6 years my Monte Carlo and I have been together. Unfortunatley, I have a stomach flu or something on our anniversary.

The Torino has a vibration at highway speeds and I have the rear end torn down... found two bearings that were bad, the rest look and act perfect. Dad thinks we should have them alone since they're more trouble to change and could get messed up on installation verses a good bearing... so we might leave the carrier bearings alone and change the pinion bearings, which are pitted up and noisy just turning them in your hands.

Here is the photo of my Monte Carlo 6 years ago today, when I was 17 years old, she was not even 4 yet (birthday on August 1), and only had 80,000 miles....

First two photos are the home of the private seller I got it from...

And the photo coming up the driveway the first time with my mom getting one of the first rides in the car...

I remember that Labonte race well too. Someone got their cage rattled by that one guy!
I have to DVR the race and catch up later. My niece was in a bad wreck Friday and going to Indianapolis to hospital. She is 18 and just had a baby six or so months ago, She has a broken bone in her neck, fractures in pelvis and hip, also feet, toes, wrist and hand. A partially collapsed lung, Trying to hold off pneumonia. Her boyfriend was on some kind of pills and flipped a Ranger. I will see if I can post a pic, Nasty. Hit a concrete pole with passenger side front.
