His post with picks shows an edit at 1:18, the green flag time for this race. The rule is that they must be posted within 1 hour. The engines were started and the cars were rolling when this edit was made. Picks will not count.

Admittidly, I haven't done a good job enforcing the rule. I've fudged for 50 minutes.. then 40 minutes... heck I've even fudged to 30 minutes on occasion (non points race). I wasn't enforcing the rule to the letter becuase it just seemed to... unforgiving.

That's why I'm proposing a rules change going into Richmond. I believe that the time of engines firing up is a hard line in the sand that can be enforced strictly.... one hour just isn't.
