Exclamation Nationwide team seeking Daytona sponsor.

Unfortunately, we all understand the current economic situation from a sponsorship standpoint in NASCAR. Even if you are a Hendrick, Childress or Roush, the sponsorship faucet isn't flowing at the velocity it once was. In the Mooresville / Charlotte area, there are many teams like my own who would sell their souls for the kind of deals that Hendrick or Childress still are able to get. However we do not have a bank of employees dedicated to getting sponsors. We have 1. He also manages our race team website, designs our uniforms, paint schemes and hauler.

I am that person. I am nearing the end of my rope here to land a primary sponsor for Daytona and potentially the entire NASCAR Nationwide season.

I am asking if anyone who is a member of these forums knows of anyone who owns a business who is interested in jumping on board for one race, select races or an entire season of sponsorship.

We are offering an extremely competitive package at an incredible value. I personally gaurantee a huge Return On Investment for any company looking to become marketing partners with us.

I know this is a long shot, but you never know until you ask.

The following is a list of deliverable to any potential sponsor.

Brand awareness and exposure through logo placement on:
• Race car graphics
• Transporter graphics
• Team uniforms
• Team equipment
• Benny Gordon Racing (BGR) driver and team website
• Team press releases and newsletters
• Hero cards
• Merchandise
• Driver / Team / Car photo opportunities for print media and
commercials

Brand mention in:

• Media interviews (AP, ESPN, SPEED, Local News, etc...)
• BGR website
• Social media outlets
• Public address (PA) interviews
• Victory lane interviews
• Racing website interviews (NASCAR, Jayski, Speed51, etc...)

Hospitality and corporate entertainment:

• Exclusive event access and pit passes for DMI and guests
• Personal team liaison to coordinate access for sponsor and clients
• Pit / Paddock access before and during races as allowed by
NASCAR
• VIP access to drivers and crew members
• VIP photo opportunities with the stars of NASCAR
• VIP access to team transporter
• VIP keepsakes for sponsors and guests
• VIP hospitality tent

Product development and direct sales at the track:
• Market research surveys and polling
• Customer feedback, contests and activation
• Data acquisition
• Vendor midway retailing
• New potential contacts with racetrack representatives

Optional sponsor deliverable:

• Show car for special and corporate events
• Team building exercises and demonstration sessions with pit crew
• Driver / Car appearance for corporate events and motivational speaking
• Ride-along experiences

Again, I know this is a long shot, but we need someone to come through for us before Daytona. We will be there in our #24 Toyota purchased from Michael Waltrip racing. The sponsorship package for Daytona is an exceptional value at its current pricing. Our driver finished 7th last year in the ARCA race in an "underdog car." We will be able to race for a win with a sponsor this year!

Again if anyone knows any business owners looking to get into NASCAR our deal is the opportunity of a lifetime! We are just running out of time...

Thank you all!

Spam.

I don't know what I think of this. You're team is running the #24 to capitalize on accidently having the last name "Gordon." I feel like Jeff Gordon should be offended that you aren't trying to establish your name on your own. How come you're not trying to equate yourself to Robby Gordon?

Spam is just anything that is trying to solicit. I didn't say nor imply that this is fake. I did research. Go read the home page for this team, linked at the bottom of that post.

"Jeff Gordon and the #24 have become synonymous with NASCAR. Now Benny Gordon will be carrying on the tradition of winning drivers taking the famous #24 for a spin! NASCAR has assigned Benny this number for the NASCAR Nationwide Series DRIVE4COPD300 and the remainder of the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Season. "

I'm probably being too hard on the guy. I just don't know why they couldn't make it with the 72 number any better than the 24. And then it is one thing to run the number 24, another to say that it is because the name Gordon, 24, NASCAR, and winning are all synonymous. I feel like that is deception.

They will get more attention with the #24. People will see it and think Jeff No doubt and wonder if he has anything to do with the team. New idea. MCF sponsored Toyota...

Cowboy regardless of your opinion, the only reasons I posted in here was to try and solicit (yes solicit) some help from people who to this point have been incredibly welcoming. Thank you for flaming me, I greatly appreciate it.

Regardless of your opinion, our driver, Benny Gordon is more than capable of running on his own merit. He is a 2 time USAR series champion and 3 time USAR Northern division champion, he is second all time in USAR Series wins and has won over 30% of the USAR Pro cup races he has entered in the past decade. It is quite unfortunate that the USAR Hooters Pro Cup is now a defunct part of the CARS series through the death of Mr. Brooks. As a racing "historian" you should know some of these facts.

However, in life you play the hand you are dealt and yes as a potential grab at some extra attention for our sponsors, we asked for and were assigned the #24 from NASCAR as the other numbers we happened to ask for were already taken in the Series.

If no one has the ability to help or no one knows anyone who is willing to get the most out of their marketing dollars, that is fine. We will make a deal before Daytona. One fact is that we will be there running around the track and you will be tuning in to ESPN.

See that is the kind of thinking outside of the box that we need right about now!

We are looking at 50k in order to do the Daytona sponsorship deal right. We are willing to negotiate a figure for multiple races as well as a whole season deal. But those conversations are able to be held at another time. Too many people think every team out there is looking for million dollar pay checks from their sponsors. We need enough to get to the track, pay our tire and fuel bills, pay for our hard cards (credentials) and accommodations. As I have stated before, we have a very capable car, engine and driver ready for Daytona.

Like I said, we will be there rain or shine even if it means taking it out of our own pockets right now. We finished 7th in Daytona in an underdog Arca deal. So we know how much we can do on a limited budget. We are going to go down there with our priorities set and represent our sponsors with the ultimate goal of a strong finish and lots of TV time in mind.

All we are looking for is a sponsor and a little support from the masses. Nay sayers and hecklers who enjoy taking pleasure from other people in need of a little help have never stood in our way and we will never allow them to! We race because we love it and we win because we are dedicated to our sponsors support and our incredibly positive friends and family!
