After Clint Bowyer's 150-point penalty, some have wondered if his win should be taken away as well. Drivers weigh in on the topic, but don't think the system will be changed.

Well, Dover is a race of attrition, but I'm still pretty much pickin' em as they qualified. Jimmie needs to rebound this week and will. A.J. has been running so good and they are getting better and overdue to win. But most importantly - Martin Martin is good here and the car is fast for once.

So my picks:
1. Mark Martin
2. Jimmie Johnson
3. A.J. Allmendinger

last: Micheal MacDowell
1st caution: Kevin Conway
# of cautions: 10

5 Chevy's in the top ten

I never weighed in on the Clint Bowyer thing yet, but I'd like to say how pissed I am at him (and the Childress team). For multiple reasons. First, Nascar gave them 1 too many chances. Bowyer shouldn't even be in the Chase. If they had given him the 150 point penalty when they first caught him with the illegal car (at Richmond) then McMurray would be in the Chase instead - and he'd have a damn good shot at the championship (and a stellar year). Tony Stewart was likely robbed of a win a New Hampshire - it was Clint Bowyer he was racing at the end of the race when he ran out of fuel. Had Bowyer not been chasing him (with an illegal car), Tony could have been coasting a half lap ahead of the field and wouldn't likely have run out of gas. But I most disappointed with Bowyer & team because I was ready to cheer them to a championship. My guess is all the Childress cars were illegal judging by this weeks qualifying (all 3 cars start near the back in their now-legal cars). That team was also very stupid for being caught with an illegal car after not heeding Nascar's warnings. What the hell were they thinking?

I enjoyed reading your posts and your points of illegal activity are valid, but the penalties were to little, to late : (
It would have changed the outcome for many.
Is there politics in NASCAR ?
Is there illegal influences in NASCAR ?
Is there Corruption ?
Yes, I believe there is, and it's in many businesses in
today's competitive World.

who to pick??

Harvick, Hamlin have heated exchange

I have no clue on picking the top 3, so here goes nothing:

1 Clint Boyer
2 happy harvick
3 Jeff Gordon

that's all I have, gonna be tuned to NFL football for the most part and will be flipping to the race on and off, also keeping track of my fantasy football team

I also wanted to sound off a bit about Harvick. Did everyone see the footage of the Denny press conference were he straight up said the Bowyer cars have been illegal for weeks and Bowyers team had received multiple warnings? He said a lot of the garage was aware of this. It was interesting stuff to me - confirmed my suspicions. I thought Denny was fairly nice about it, but Harvick took exception to Childress Racing being called out.
At the beginning of practice on Saturday Harvick slammed into the back of Hamlin car as they were leaving pit row, and then again on pit row. A confrontation in the garage ensued afterwards, for which Harvick showed up wearing his helmut which he left on.
I just wanna say that I think Harvick is the most cowardly man in tha garage. I hate guys that can't settle there personal grievences off track and need to go out and wreck valuable equipment. Harvick probably did $30,000 damage (between the 2 cars) because he couldn't face Hamlin like a man when he was mad at him. Harvick was not a man when Peblo punked him out at Watkins Glen 2 years ago. Peblo, for his part in that, at least had the sack to stand up to him (even though I don't like him). And Joey Logano is a pistol in the garage these days - he's not afraid to shove bigger guys (i still think he might get his *** kicked one of these day but maybe Space is right - maybe he can really throw down - who knows?). Logano has made Harvick look like the he really is this year too.

I just lost the last bit of respect I had for Harvick.

...sorry Chris...
