I gotta start this thread? I thought it was up to 'Space? What happened to 'Space? It's okay - I'm here. I think 'Space was just waitin' to see if I'd get the ball rollin' and he's right, I will.
It only minutes to race time! No need to get excited - this may very well be the most boring race of the year! Last nights Nationwide race was a sleeper with the only highlight being the last green flag lap (that denied us a race to the finish). It also sucked because Kyle Busch won, who after this week, I have an all new level of disrespect for. Still wanna hear about Delaware? I haven't blogged that yet since I'm still reflecting. My love for racing is in serious question.
Anyways, the fast will win tonight. It will not take a talented driver to win here. I'm hoping for an exciting outcome when I make my pick. Not exciting, but different. Qualifying sez it all, but tonight, and only tonight he will survive to make this special:
1. Sam Hornish!!!
2. Jeff Gordon
3. Jimmie Johnson
1st caution: Peblo
# of cautions: 2 (only)
last: Joe Nemechek (who was actually fastest in practice! Its a shame really)
At time of post athem is already done. Was a hell of a powerful anthem!!!!

Lap 129 the race is under caution for mysterious, but uninteresting reasons. MCmurray leads Johnson off pit row. Hornish is down a lap (and may as well be out of this), as well as Kurt Busch & Kevin Harvick. Paul Menard (9th) and David Reuitmann (5th) run uncharacteristically well after pit stops...

wow, I totally didn't know this race was tonight, I just tuned in and saw Jimmie Johnson spin but it looks like no damage for his car I'll be here til the end of the race, hopefully Harvick gets a good finish tonight :p

Lap 178: CAUTION When Elliot & Robbie Gordon wreck, Jimmie is 1 lap from getting a lap back on track under green - the wave around would have put him on the lead lap. I'm watching and listening to Jimmie on the scanner, and I can't believe all the f* bombs being dropped by both Jimmie & Chad!!! I hope he keeps it at the track and away from his new baby girl!
