Busch, Penske mutually agree to part ways - Dec 05, 2011 - NASCAR.COM

It is indeed official guys!!! I say its going to be Allgaier or Hornish getting the ride.

Hornish seems like a sure thing to fill the seat.
But i wonder if this news will stir up things with any of the bigger name drivers?

Maybe someone will try to get out of their contract to switch.
Never know, someone like Hamlin might not be happy and want a change.
Or Biffle?

Alright... well we're oging to run the non points races too... we don't count points in them, but we run them for pride.

I think my goals for next year:

Win a race in speedweeks
Win a points paying race before Bristol (lest I go 36 points paying races without a win)
Win a segment
Defend my championship.

The reality about that last one though.. I feel a little guilty about winning my own system. I really want somebody to beat me... but I'm not ready to roll over and play dead yet. I was glad to win, because you never know when you'll have the chance again, but I thought it would have been cool if Jerry or Chris could have pulled off an upset and nipped me in the last race.

Maybe someone from the nationwide or the truck series will get the call up to the big show. I would like to see an up and coming driver get a shot. There is a lot of talent there.

I have hopes to win a segment next year too. I need to place better in points races, I either won or placed in the botton 5. It's all in fun tho.

Brent, if you get teh job, I will have to disqualify you for the 2012 Fantasy title, Section 12-4-A "Actions detrimental to Fantasy League racing." For having insider information You could potentially manipulate too many variables....

There's no way it will be Sam Hornish......he rarely finishes a race.
