I figure I'll have really steady work for a year or so until he gets fired for wrecking so many cars. I'm ready to crack the lid on the bondo can, Mr. Petty!!!

Well you've got a family to raise, Jerry. Hwo about you move your family to Charlotte and work there, I'll travel with the team and do the "quick fix" work when he bangs the wall in practice, and I can also be the guy who tries to get him back on teh track during the race. You'll be the hsop repair man, I'll be the "track" repairman. We communicate pretty well with one another so we'll be able to work in sync like that.


I can tell you what I did at the track, that can give you the direction you need to go when the car gets back to Charlotte so you can have the paint shiny and pretty for the next crash when I'll take over again at the next track.

You want to be on the "home" team or the "away" team, Mike? We'll probably really need you over here at Petty Motorsports, you've got experience in repairing cars after rollover accidents that I don't, can't speak for Jerry.


Sad part is, I do'nt think there are enough body repair specialists to fix his $hit.

If Sam Hornish gets back in somehow, they will place such a demand on the craft that we'll be able to get $500 an hour for this mess.

 

I was thinking more of just driving the car i mean im pretty good a wrecking cars

But nahh id go for the away team, gotta be quick to do those & yeah there will prob be a demand for skiiled body men on some of these race teams

 

use the old "Can't do much worse" philosophy?

 

I mean i can drive i have no fear of speed so driving those cars wouldnt be too bad but prob take some time getting used to thats for sure lol

 

Cool I'll take some race used sheet metal. Can you ship a whole fender?
