Well in the spirit of bumping and banging at Bristol, someone bumped me in the Mustang in Raleigh today.
I was at an intersection starting to pull out and the guy behind me thought I was going, but I ahd to stop for another car coming at me and I got rear ended at about 5-10 mph. His license plate frame left a lot of marks on the back bumper and put about a dime sized "stamp" in it, taking a small section of paint out. I was pretty calm about it, not happy, but calm. A cop came by and said if an accident report was taken the VIN's would be reported... dont' want that on a Carfax!! The guy gave me cash on the spot that he and I agreed on... aftewords I was actually able to buff most of the black mess off ( I knew I would be able to by the look of the marks, and noticing no white paint on his car), and bought a $16 paint pen at the parts store to feather in the spot that was missing. Not happy, but I can live with it at least.
Then I buffed it all out and re-clay barred it...

Sorry about the car Duane, but it looks pretty good. I'm always worried about the Fusion cuz its that "White Platinum Tri-Coat" that is impossible to blend and tough to color match. The wife already screwed up a rocker and it will be repainted blue instead.
Pyle's in trouble and I've never had so much invested in him. I picked him here, at Nascar.com Fantasy and in a money pool I'm in. And I wearing my lucky #18 JGR Interstate Battery hat. Looks like it's still got it's magic!
