Haha, well, myabe it's where I have to get back to calculating points whereas most of you just sit around and wait, but I'm still enjoying this off season!!!

Of course, I have the off season as champ too, I don't necessarily want to get back to racing and have someoen run after my title just yet!!!

In all seriousness, I'm usually not ready for NASCAR right after Christmas. Once we get past the holidays and we get settled into 2012 about mid January, I'll be ready for some NASCAR.

And in seriousness still, I actually want to go back to calculating points and seeing how 2012 plays out on the forum... but I just want to wait until it is the proper time as well!

By the way, look at those seats in the picture Space posted. Charlotte Motor Speedway does the exact same thing with their seats, and when I took this picture, a friend of mine thought it was a back drop and not real. When you're there or looking at those seats up close, they look like seats with an odd pattern to them. On TV Cameras, those seats look more full and helps the track seem like it is selling more tickets than it is.

And that is what I learned (from Duane) today too! I never even knew there was an explanation, but many tracks do this. It all makes sense now...

Hi Cowboy `Duane & NASCAR fan Member's,

I know this thread is premature to the new Racing season, but during the holidays we have many member's that have time `off & visit the MCF...I just wanted to remind them of your future Thread on NASCAR Sprint Cup that member's can participate......

I also appreciate your input on WHY the seats are painted multi-colors to give the impression of a full audience on TV coverage....

I think NASCAR could fill everyone of those seats `if they would lower the price of their ticket's...
It seems the average price is $75 & above ..How can a family of four afford that & the cost of getting to the track, etc. I demand they lower their prices LOL

Duane, put some air shocks on that thing!!!! At least level it out. A low RIDER. They ride nice like that though. Maybe you have a back seat full of people. Either way, it is still a nice cruiser.
