I wouldn't worry about that. I was blessed to win with a completely stock car.

 

he just doesn't want to win, because after you win you can't win again for a year :P

Thanks for the nominations guys! I do not decline! I've always kinda' prided the Bud Chev on being a true stock car. But to be honest, reading these boards over the winter has inspired me. He's back out of storage now and mods have just begun. Maybe if I win this month (month of my birthday by the way - shameless plug) I post some photos of the hood up!

haha juniorcar, i almost used the same plug last month........but i wasnt nominated

anyways, juniorcar does have a good looking monte, truely nascar inspired.
i went for the american inspired. since i want to keep this car (god willing) forever, 20 years looking back when its in shows and my daily driver is an 85' monte SS, i want to know i made a great choice in aftermarket parts and the build.

every car nominated on here has held their own, and as long as you make the car what YOU want, you cant go wrong. after all, your the one driving it. its just good to see so many cars take different paths, that way the people just starting with a monte have a good database on what the car could look like, and how to go about doing their build.
