Nominees MUST have a photo gallery. Either here on the site, or on a photo hosting site. Like Motortopia, CarDomain, photobucket, etc. that we can link to in the voting thread.

We're more than happy to provide you with gallery space right here on MCF. Create a "garage" for your vehicles. And don't forget MCF's original Photo Gallery is still available too!

I only ask that you please not link to a photo gallery you created on another forum. It's called stealing bandwidth. A lot of forums frown upon this, and they may ban you for it. I don't want you to get banned from one of your favorite forums, when so many FREE alternatives are availble. :)

All nominees must meet the eligibility requirements posted at the top of the MOTM section. Also, displayed below.

Monte of the Month Requirements

1. Must be an active MCF Member

******(minimum 12 posts a month)******

If a member leaves for a length of time then returns, the staff will determine whether the member is eligible or not.

2. Member`s Monte must be posted
in the Photo Gallery, have an MCF "Garage",
or a link to Member's photo site.
(please don't use another forum to host your pictures)
That's stealing their bandwidth, and is frowned upon by most forums.)

3. Gallery should include pictures of
Front/Side/Rear
(Interior/Engine a plus 4 member)

4. Every MCF Member can nominate
one (1) member
&
support the nomination
of one (1) other Member.

Only your first supporting nomination ("support") will count.:thumbsup:

So choose wisely before you post your support for someone.

* All member`s
are eligible for MOTM
(Including `Moderators)

5. The Top (3) Member`s that are nominated, & with the most
support will be entered into the MOTM Contest.

6. The MCF Monte of the Month Nominations
will begin, ten (10)days before the end of each Monte
or determined by the MCF Staff.

7. Voting will begin five (5) days before the end of the Month or determined by the MCF Staff.

8. Contest Ends, five days after voting begins. The closing date and time is posted above the voting results.

9. Winner will be confirmed on the First Day of the Month by the MCF Staff, & posted.:congrats:

10. In order to be eligible, you must currently own the car, and it must be road worthy.

If the car is a track-only car, it must meet track safety standards.

11. Each Monte Of The Month winner, for that calendar year, will be entered in the
Monte Of The Year contest held at the end of the year.

12. Monte Of The Month winners are ineligible for
the MOTM contest the following calendar year.:(

13. You cannot nominate your own car.:(

14. You cannot nominate and support the same member.

15. Votes will remain annonymous. However, in the unlikely event of a dispute over the voting results, an Administrator may need to reveal the results to the forum staff. Decision of the forum administrators is final.

Hi to all members,
I am not active enough to nominate a deserving member,but Ive visited the winner thread & noticed that most of the winners are 6+ generations montes.

It would be great to see some 1st Gen -4th Gen's in the contest.
The MCF sure has some super members & Montes.
I wish I had one... I hope there are some active members to nominate:thumbsup:

Thats not totally true about 6th gens and up....My 5th gen was MOTM in February...:rotfl:

We don't have a rule for being active to nominate/vote - we have brand new members get in on the nominations from time to time - you just have to be active to be eligible for nomination.

It's a shame a lot of our 1st through 4th gen members aren't more active - they still actively surf just not a lot post because they aren't into the new school stuff that is in the 5th and 6th gens.

As long as there's some kind of picture gallery some where we can link to, that's fine. Just try not to use a picture gallery on another forum. That's considered stealing bandwidth, and is frowned upon by most forums.

Its difficult to choose a member thats eligible for nomination & it takes some research/checking to choose just one member (there are so many that are deserving: ). I did enjoy the winners thread & its a great honor to be one of the winners.

I agree it would be nicer to see more earlier gens of Monte nominated (1st-5th). The sad fact is, MCF is dominated by a lot of 6th/7th gen Montes (just how things happened). BUT we do have some members who own and in some cases are restoring earlier gen Montes. We just need to see more posts from them to learn more about them AND their Monte.

MCF is like everything else, subject to change.

I'd love to see some awesome 4th Gen SS Montes on this forum get nominated (but I honestly don't know the members on MCF with them).

OK, my speech is over....

Here's an idea.... If you nominate someone, perhaps give a couple highlights that moved your to do so??

I will cast my support for Mike 00LS.

Even though I did not nominate him, I'll throw out some highlights:
- Like many of our members, he's out there helping answer questions for many people.
- He has also been a long term MCF member and seems to be on at least once a day (or so it seems).
- He's got a great Monte that he cares about keeping nice. SO much he had a body shop do some rust repair and ditch the Impala spoiler the previous owner installed. He's also upgraded to heated leather seats.

I'm sure there are plenty of other things to throw out there in support for Mike 00LS, but I figure that's a good top 3. :)

As you all may or maynot know....Tad has put a lot of time, money,and effort
in His MonteCarlo... It truly is a vehicle to hold the Title of MOTM IMO...
Not to mention he's a Great Guy, Husband and Great son to his Mom!...

Over the last year or so...Tad and Rhonda have been thru some Rough Times...

Well i support keane because he has been an extremely active member, one of the most active on here. He obv. loves Montes because he got another one! He attends meet ups and other Monte outings. Plus his new Monte looks Fantastic!

I nominated Joeykl66 because he also is a active member with a wicked good looking 7th gen! It's good to see new member come in here and actually stay and post daily.
Plus it would be great to see someone new win MOTM and give more members a chance and he deserve's a fighting chance!

This man suffers from arthritis, lost a leg and a spouse in a motorcycle accident but you would never know that just by talking to him he picked up the pieces and moved on with his life.
He has attended all the MCF meets here in MI, will be going to the Monte Nats. AND this not just because he nominated me either: I would done this anyways he deserves a crack at MOTM, I'd like to see him have this honor
