February 2012 MOTM voting

Congrats Matt/PacerSS!
I wish I knew how to motivate people to vote, but don't have an answer for you 'Space. I agree that being active on the forum should be considered, but I think the content of the posts should also be considered. Before I cast my vote I not only look at the pictures but also do a quick scan of the posts made by the nominated members. IMO a member with 10 posts of useful/helpful information far outweighs 100 posts by a member that contains nothing but pointless banter. JMO...YMMV

Perhaps we could have some sort of advertisement for MOTM. I don't think it's promoted enough. Maybe there should be an announcement at the top of the home page during voting, or some other promotion to get others to vote. Or maybe if the forum software is capable, there could be some sort of sidebar on the home page with a poll and pics of the cars and a link to the thread or even a place to vote right there. Maybe it's the fact that people have to find the MOTM threat to vote that they aren't putting any effort into it. Not that it is hard to find and vote, but it's just some ideas I'm throwing out there.

YOU REALLY LIKE ME! (thought it would be funny for all of us old enough to remember)
Hahaha, no seriously thanks to everyone that participated and for all the support. Thanks for the tight race there Kerry, and good luck to both you and Angie in future contests. I would like to thank, ZZP, Intense, W-body store, the guy at the auto hobby shop, everyone who gave me suggestions when asked about my mods, and all those who keep the Monte Carlo community alive....and big thanks to the man upstairs without Him this wouldn't be possible.
Ok so after the acceptance speech there, really thanks everyone for participating and to those who keep modding their Monte Carlos. Just got back into to town to see this.
