Yes I did it myself, I plan to redo a new one as this one has some flaws in it I do not like, I actually ended up painting it all black becuase my first attempt I forgot to tape off the blinker, and all warning light holes from the back side so they ended up silver as well, and what is on there now is brushed on,

Its all about trial and error. At least it was an experiance to get ya going on it. So on your next one are you going to change the backlights also? that was another thing that caught my eye on BBE I've always like pontiacs Red backlights lol. Blue is nice too but I thought they used LEDs which would be too bright IMO unless you could still use the dimmer.

The funny part of this story... my first MotM win, was when I had a 99% stock Monte Carlo. My lower rocker panels were painted and that was about all that I had.
So yes, people do win with a stock car
Apparently it was easier for me to win BEFORE I did all of my mods
i nomonate chibi mike again. i know i know he had it befor i havent seen bumpin nominated those two i will probably vote for. i do have a quick question though has any one been nominated that has mostly stock monty like mine? even though mine is kind of classified as a police fleet car but it is a personal car even though it has the 3500 v6. dont get me wrong i wanted to ask because i havent seen one in a while nominated in a very long time.

Hi `John, It's great that your recognized & Nominated Mod `Mike's Super Super Monte Carlo S.S. (He's won twice for MOTM already) and I think `if he won three times his head would get 2 BIG & Explode + it would take away the opportunity for many other deserving member's Monte's to compete for a win I was going to Support your nomination, but I would like to support every member in the constest, but I'm not permitted. I will go to a Camaro Forum & nominate Mike's Camaro (both of them) WoW
You did make a good point & there has been several member's Monte's that have Won MOTM with their stock Monte's 4-Sure
Everyone just has to read the requirements/rules for MOTM & take great pictures I'm curious about your Monte & I never heard of a classified POLICE Monte Carlo Fleet Car...How many are there or were produced ? Please tell us more about it `OK. I thought I knew about all Monte Model's, but this is a new one for me ?
Did it comes from the factory that way ? Your should take the required MOTM pictures and put in your album & you never know when a member might like your Monte & nominate it...Good Luck `John..
