Well, from what I can tell, 2007 the winner got 13 votes and the runner up got 10. But that was back when we were on the old forum. The old forum allowed for 12 voting options. So all 12 monthly winners went up in one vote instead of the way we do it now.

One of the unfortunate side effects of switching to the new forum was that the software coding is not compatible with the new forum. All the voting polls from the old forum disappeared during the switch. It's also the reason posts are screwed up, and pictures are missing.

We switched to the new forum in 2009. The only reason I know the 2007 results is because I typed the results of the poll into one of my posts.

If you read the introduction in the first post of the Winners Gallery, you'll notice that the first year or so MCF existed, the MOTM was chosen by the administrator and not voted on. Voting didn't come in until late 2006 or early 2007.
