Alright, there seems to be something wrong and i know what ( i think )

The 98 monte carlo ( 3100 CC ) has a 3 speed trans with a overdrive right?
But what happens when you drive about 60 Miles/H in Od.
The Revs drop to about 1700Rpm.
Is there a lock up on the transmission.
For years i thought it was a 3 speed with a Od, but now it looks like a 4 speed with a overdrive.
Did any one nottis that?
anyway, when i program the indicator, it claims that there are 5 diff gears.
( ofcours the lock up is not a gear but it detects that there is something different)
So from 0 to 80 MPH, It seems to change? shift 5 times .
Try it on your car and count it for me.

Any way, it works so that a very good thing.
Yesterday we made a video from the back seat, so i hope that video is good enough to upload to the internet.
If everything goes ok, ill upload it with in 12 H from now.

Have a nice day guys

cheers

Sander

I blew a tire on the freeway, and it severed the wiring harness. I got a replacement harness, but now I need to rewire it. Would you be willing to e-mail me the Haynes manual? I
