Hi guys/gals.... looking for some help here. My car makes this loud annoying noise now when it is cold and goes away when it is warm. It sounds the loudest at the airbox and when I open the box it is louder. Any idea what this could be? thanks for any help.

 

Normal, many many 3800's do it, especially with a cold air intake

 

Ok thanks. I have had this car since last October and it seemed to have started a few months ago... or maybe I just only noticed it a few months ago. It's annoying but if it's normal then all is well. Thanks again.

 

Replacing the air filter will help if it's clogged.
