This thread is primarily directed at the LS4 Monte Carlos, I was pretty appalled at how awful their fuel economy becomes when you tune out the DOD.

In my 2003 SS I would average 18city/28highway.

In my 2001 Z28 I average 16city/26highway.

What do you all you guys get?

I got a pretty heavy lead foot though.

 

like i said in another thread. 24 highway so far. 22ish average with 80% highway but only the second tank of gas this year so maybe I might be able to do a little better. kinda depends on how you drive them too. If you put your foot down at all it doesnt take long for that mpg to go way down

EXACTLY 21.7MPG. ive been pretty fuel efficient!

 

I just took it out of storage last week. I average about 5k per year on my monte.

 

My daily average for my Z28 is about 20MPG. I forget what my '03 Monte was, but I imagine it was about 21 or 22.

 

With DOD and trusting the in car computer AVG readout the last 4 months I got 11.9L/100Km or about 19.75MPG.

I know I could get better but I drive it pretty hard.
So I'll take it.

 

i drive hard so i get around 18 city and 22-24 highway. what you have to remember though is these monts are light they are heavy weight cars weighing in at 4200lb's
