What engines will fit into an '83 Monte?
Man that cutlass is nice I opened my mouth and said "oh an LS swap would be harder blah blah blah" before I watched that video right there. So I'd like to add that while you would have to do more work to the car to put in a LS motor, it would be well worth it when you got it done. Those motors are modern, reliable, and powerful as hell and AO5C is right, you can leave it fuel injected, carb it whatever. And there is a ton of info out there. If you did decide to do the LS swap however, i'd really try and get a donor car. That would be the cheapest way to actually source the engine and trans.
