Default Want To Upgrade a bit ?

Just bought my 02 MC SS a month ago and I mostly drive to work and home 54 miles round trip. I'm looking for a few mods just to have fun on the highway when people notice the SS badges and want to play !

Not to" thread hijack" but this thread seems to be heading this direction anyways.

Instead of a top swap, does anyone have opinions on this kit?

It's all in what you prefer. Do you want a seperate belt for the supercharger? I do. Go complete topswap screw that chump SSM90 trash

The SSM90 is the easy way to go, but it suffers by being more expensive and you will never make as much power with it as you would a top swap.

Top swap is the way to go.

Don't do the PCM first. You need to do your PCM last actually. The reason why is because if you do end up doing a top swap, you will have to have your PCM tuned, so why do it again? I say, just save up for the top swap and a good tune. Take your time and do some research and then you will get exactly what you want. I've said this in other threads, but I've had my Monte for over 5 years and I'm STILL not done with it. So just take your time, you'll be happy that you waited

If you're going to do a top swap go with a gen 5 SC! hey tend to be a bit costlier than the gen 3 SC but they create less heat and use the L32 heads/intake.
