Default Vibration and grinding

I have a 2006 Monte SS V8. Here is the problem: As long as you are accelerating everything is fine. Take foot off gas and let it coast down to 35 - 40 mph steering wheel starts vibrating and there is what sounds like grinding almost like calipher sticking or shoe. Had all new tires on and alignment, had it in shop.. they took the transmission apart three times, checked torque converter, it's good. Finally decided they didn't know what the problem is. Anyone .... help??

Check and see if the front rims are different temperatures after driving. One may be very hot. Of course check your brakes. Could also be a CV axle issue.

As a matter of fact a friend drove it and checked the front rims and the right one was very hot. Think what you said could be the culprit?

It's possible. You're the one that said it sounded like a caliper noise... I'd check that caliper first and foremost. Be sure to check your rotor to make sure it isn't warped either. Could still be a CV axle issue or wheel bearing possibly, but I'm leaning more towards a brake issue. Why was the transmission taken apart?

Mechanic thought it could be torque converter clutch solenoid, but 3 times? Taking it to another recommended mechanic tomorrow, 8/1. We'll see what he says.
