Default Vacuum leak possibly?

Sometimes when I start my 04 monte carlo it idles high around 2500rpm.. then I'll shut the car off then restart it then it goes back to a normal idle 600 to 700rpm.. (park).....any help or advice would really be great

check and clean the idle control valve
