Default Universal Home Remote System Help

Does Anyone Know if the Universal Home Remote System That has 1 LED Light above the 3 Switches will work with the older Type Garage Door Openers that have the Fixed Code System?
The Owners Manual Shows That there are 2 Types of Systems that are in the Monte Carlo the other has 3 LED Lights 1 above each Switch and that one says it will work with Fixed Code System.

I'm not sure about the 06-07 Montes, but I think all of them work on the Homelink system, and I believe that that is the only requirement (https://www.mygmlink.com/pdf/go2cont...montecarlo.pdf) I'm not sure if that link will work for you or not, but the owner's manual goes into the specifics of programming. I know that my garage door's manual also detailed hohw to program it as well.

Hope this helps, good luck.

I Got the Fixed Code Garage Door Opener Programed Today on the Homelink. If You have the single LED light Above the Homelink it will Program the same as the Rolling Code Openers Do. This is easier than the the3 LED Light Setup on the Homelink.

I have the Homelink on my 03 monte (with the 3 buttons) and for the life of me I can't program it with the opener in my new house - I have tried everything. All my other houses that I have lived had lift masters and I was able to program the homelink no prob - this house has a Wayne Dalton and it won't work

AwsomeSS:
I Don't Know if this will Work for You, But I had to Put a New Battery in my Remote even Though the Remote Would Open & Close the Garage Door. Once I Put in the New Battery it Worked First Try.
