6th Gen ('00-'05): Traction control and abs light problem

Default Traction control and abs light problem

I have a problem with my 2003 Mc ls....I notice the traction control keeps coming on then off with the abs light on and it often making a "mooooo" like a COW noise when turning or making a stop. can someone please help with a solution.

Very common, there is an issue with one of the car's wheel hubs, either the hub itself, or the wiring going to the hub

Interesting. I my 05 Impala had that problem and eventually I scanned it to read the ABS code and it only had an issue with the ground wire at the brake control module - I cleaned the ground and have not had any issues since. Not sure if your MC have that issue.

Hmm...that's something I'll definitely look into. I didn't know it could be something simple like that . Thanks I'll have my mechanic check it

I had the same problem. Replaced the hub, worked for a month then it came back. Replaced the wire, and its fixed. Wire is cheaper than a hub so try that 1st.
