Throttle responce problems????
i just recently removed the muffler on my monte and did a turndown anddid a cold air intakeand ive noticed that the throttle responce has been slacking. I have to hold in the throttle almost all the way to get it to 3000 rmps and get some go, is this normal with those kind of mods and would a throttle enhancer take care of that?????

What else can cause problems with the throttle responce??

RE: Throttle responce problems????
No, throttle responce should actually improve.
The TPS enhancers are garbage. All they do is tell the car that at 70%+ to open 100%... just push the gas petal down the other 1/4 of the way.

You should check to see that the TB and MAF Sensor connections are securely plugged-in, otherwise the Engine will operate at a Default Duty Cycle and not respond to the Throttle variation until the PCM gets the correct values from those two sensors and responds to their signal outputs.

you might have to reflash the computer for all your mods. so that the car can run normally.
Also it might be you have so littel back pressure the readings are off.
you took the muffler completly off and also the resinator ? is this right?

RE: Throttle responce problems????
your trouble is that the heated O2 sensor is not getting and holding enough heat in it due to very low backpressurein the exhaust.it's flowing too well and too cool. it needs a performancemuffler installed. that will get the O2 readings backto parameter.
