i justed changed my temp sensor, started the car and after about 10 min with the ac on the car slowly jumped to the red on the gauge, i popped the hood and placed my hand on top of the intake i was warm n0t hot how do i test the gauge on my 2005 3.4l

 

well like i stated the moment i replaced the sensor i turned car on at it read hot after a while but i now test drove it and guage reads normal temp i does seem to work properly now and today was 92 degrees but very windy hope the sensor replacement was all it was
