Default Steering Wheel Controls & Cruise Control

I had an SWI-JACK installed on my Monte and it's been working fine for years. But recently my steering wheel controls haven't been working. I removed the SWI-JACK module, but the cruise control still malfunctions. I can set my speed, but when I accel with the button it blows the cruise control/steering wheel control fuse.

I was wondering if anyone knew off-hand the voltages I should get at the blue steering wheel control wire behind the stereo. It does fluctuate depending on the button being pressed on the steering wheel, but I have no idea if my readings are correct.

Thanks I'll look into that and do some research. But my cruise control engages, it just blows the fuse when I try to use the acceleration button.

sound like there's a shortage some where if you keep blowing a fuse. i would pop open the steering wheel cover off and see if there's a pinch wire

You mean the center or the outer bezels? Unfortunately I believe I won't have any time to do it for quite a while
