Default SS Water Pump Replacement Tip

So after having just replaced my water pump in my 07 SS, I have a bit of advice for anyone else who may be looking to do this themselves. When you replace the pump, go ahead and get some new bolts to install it with as well. The head snapped off one of my bolts (without excessive force when re-torquing) and after hours of trying to drill it out with no success, I gave up. A new water manifold will cost you around $400. I managed to put it all back together with a decent amount of gasket sealer and 4/5 bolts in there. I imagine it will leak again eventually, but this gives me time to save up for a new manifold. Junk yard wanted $300 for one off a wrecked Impala, so regardless the route you go, it's gonna be costly. Just my two cents worth.
