Speedo cable...

There is a mild whirring noise coming from under my dashboard, might be the speedometer cable, is it the simple threaded connection
that can be lubed?. Thanks

If I remember correctly , it should have a squeeze type retainer that holds it to the speedometer. Yes you can remove it to lubricate with grease.
