what do you mean if your motor isnt built up, are you saying that the iridium plugs will mess up the engine? how, ive never heard of this. or are you saying that bigger wires will mess it up?

Way too much overthinking for simple spark plugs. Just get factory plugs and wires and be done with it. I've never seen any wbody dyno a horsepower gain off any plug or wire change. Keep it simple and keep it cheap.

im overthinking it for sure now, i took one of my old plugs and one of my old wires into napa and said "this is what i need" i told them no copper and no upgrades. that is what they gave me. so whats this about the motor needing to be built up?

Use the Delcos, E3's are copper plugs and just don't last as long (OE are platinum) you can get Delcos anywhere now (even wallyworld) stick with the stock wires, you won't gain a bit with those huge wires except a bigger hole in your wallet, (and looks, if that's a concern) put a little anti-seize compound on the threads for the next time and some dielectric grease in the plug boots

how many miles are on your monte. im pretty sure oem plugs/wires are suppose to last 100k. i wouldnt change unless your missing or getting close like 80k or so. i must not drive that much casue im no where close to that number.
