ok i just ran outside and popped the hood. the engine has the writing 3400 sfi and does not look like the engine in the that video. i also checked the fluid in the radiator and it seems full. i can't add anymore if i do it spills out almost immediately. and I havent noticed any bubbling sounds.
could it be the thermastat causing low heat when i am driving? if so how do i change it on this engine?
thanks guys for taking the time to work with a guy who doesnt know much about cars. hopefully my friend can help once i get more info.

Here is a You Tube video on T-stst replacement for the 3400 engine.

Like Maniac mentioned and another guy in the video comments section, they removed the throttle body housing and it made the job of removing and replacing the T-stat significantly easier.

i don't see a link zippy :( but i serched youtube and i found a couple. I watched this one
. ill talk to my friend who said he might b able to help me. hopefully he can help this weekend we can get my heat going. thanks everyone so far 4 offering help.if i can get heat in this car would be great!
