Slow seatbelt help
This isn't a major issue, but it's a little annoying after the door closes on the seatbelt for the 50th time. My driver's side seatbelt doesn't have the snappy rectraction like the others do. I've wiped it off and even cut off the tag that was sewn onto it. I don't know if there's too much friction on the guide attached to the headrest or the angle of the bracket on the headliner or what. Has anyone experienced this and how did you fix it?
Thanks!
Thanks!

i dont wear a seatbelt. but if i did i wouldnt slam the door on it.
heres my advice, take a deep breath after you turn off the ignition, say wooo saaaa, then make sure it goes all the way in there b4 you shut the door, proceed to where your going.
seriously idk how to fix this. i believe its the same concept as a tape measure. after a while dirt gets in there, and doesnt come back out. im sure a junk yard whould have the part your looking for. GL

same thing happens to me, now i have a ton of mini dents that i need to fix this summer, really irritating, no fix that im aware of yet but the rest of mine zip right up, take the one off of the middle seat in the back and switch it out, thats what i might do because no one sits back there and if they do theres less friction

Well thanks for the advice. It sounds like I may be able to fix it if I take all the interior moldings out and clean or replace the mechanism. I think I'll just try to remember to feed it back before I get out of the car.
