Single fan motor replacement?

Default Single fan motor replacement?

If my passenger fan motor is no good...will i have to buy a whole new assembly or do they sell just the motors them self...i finally got the chance to pull mine out n the problem is there...i hand spin it n it berely moves...

Well, for crying out loud! What is the make and model and year of your "car"? Did I miss something? I assume since this is a Monte Carlo forum that it is a Monte Carlo.

The answer is probably yes. That assembly is one piece unless you want to do a lot of reforming and gerrymandering.

Around $115 new or find one at the bone yard.

He has an 02 LS with a 3400.

haha my bad man...fustration made me forget all that good stuff...3.4 Monte Carlo...i dont need to say the make do I...lol...so better of me buyin a whole new dual fan assembly?

Well, I won't get wrapped up with what is "uncalled for" but thanks for not getting personally offended Chevyrider.

It's a pain to get those fan assemblies out but if that one fan is seized it looks like the only alternative is to replace the entire dual fan assembly. In my case, the same fan went bad.

I picked up a new one up for my '01 SS a couple of years ago for $116. They list for @ $230 as I recall. Didn't want one from the junk yard--no telling how many miles on it.

Ah, I see. You ALREADY pulled out the assembly. The worst of the job is completed.
