I have a 96' monte carlo and i go to start it and it just clicks and a little bit fo the light for the clcok comes on and then nothing. I took it in and one guy gave me a new battery and said that was the problem. That didn't work. So i took it back in and he said it was the starter. That's not it either. A friend of mine thinks it's the selonoid. I don't know. I'm so sick of it not working right.

 

Did you replace the starter?.. and if you did, did it have a solenoid on it?.

Some do.. some don't.
