Security light comes on while driving 2002 Monte Carlo SS
Security light illuminates after driving for some time. Car only has 54k miles on it. Need advice and what to troubleshoot. Saw something about worn keys. Light also comes on with spare key sometimes. Very Bizarre.

Most likely going to the pass key sensor in the dash. Try doing the 10 minute relearn and see if that fixes it. If not you may need to replace the sensor in dash .
There was a GM bulliten out years back that said the key rings that people load up with trinkets and other keys put excessive weight on the key and it will cause issues. https://www.google.com/search?client...&bih=615&dpr=1
