Runs Poorly and Jumps, Delay in power transfer
2000 Monte Carlo SS 3.8L Pace Car
My car is having trouble when I hit the gas, especially when I'm making a turn from a complete stop.
From a complete stop, the power doesn't go into the wheels. I can hear the engine working and after a second, the car will jump. I release the gas and it will do it again. Once I'm going straight it is normally fine but it does have similar issues if I try to press the pedal down too hard and fast while driving.
Getting up around 80 too quickly can cause my check engine light to come on.
