5th Gen ('95-'99): Removing lower heater hose at firewall...any tricks?

Default Removing lower heater hose at firewall...any tricks?

I'm trying to change a blown lower heater hose on my 98...outs the lower one at the firewall. Is there a trick, tool or do i need tiny hands?

Easiest way is to pull the upper motor mounts and tip (rock) the motor forward and that should give you a lot more room to get to hoses . You also might need a spring clamp pliers to remove the clamp but otherwise pretty straight forward. Good luck
