Removing bottom part of seat (bottom seat cushion)
So my driver side ebony leather seats bottom is torn I went to the salvage yard today and found a leather seat with a torn top but good bottom I was wondering if it’s possible to remove the bottom cushion of the seat and put the nice one on my driver seat bottom since mine is bad

Of course it's possible but you will need to unbolt the seat belt buckle from the seat frame. The seatback recline lever is held on by a small clip on the underside. The lumbar **** just pulls off. The cover panel has a screw on front and back. It is pushed into the frame in two places on either side of the recline, just carefully pry it out. The power switch is clipped into the cover panel. Then remove the lumbar cable screws from the panel.
The seat cover is clipped to the frame with white plastic clips. After you get the rear clip off, lean the seatback forward and you will find 2-5 hog rings under the rear flap - these hold the bottom cover and foam to the frame. Clip them or twist them off. The foam may be glued to the frame. The seat cover is velcroed to the foam. If either seat is heated, the harness is zip-tied to the spring assembly.
I haven't done an installation yet., just the junk teardown. (I found out I couldn't use the non-airbag seat in my car that has one.)
