Is there any way to get better range out of my remote? For a while I was able to stand in the upstairs of my house and be able to remote start my car (about 20-25 feet away) and over the past few months the range has slowly gotten worse and worse. I'm at the point now where I have to be on top of my car to remote start/lock/unlock. I've had the car for about eight months and I've changed the batteries in the remote at least three times because the remote just went completely dead.
Any suggestions on how I can get better range? Maybe time for a new remote?
