Default Refridgerant

how much refrigerant does it take to completely recharge the system? replaced the compressor last year but never recharged after, gf wants a/c now lol

there should be a sticker under the hood somewhere. its usually around 1.5 - 2 lbs though

I have used a recharge can that had a guage right on the can and you could just watch the guage to see when it was at max pressure. I do'nt think this the most exact but it worked for me on a Mitsu 3000GT.

Where is the rechrge valve located? Want to do it myself if all possible

Most recharge kits have instructions on them and A/C systems are all pretty similar. Look for a metal line that will have a connector attached to it. The connector will most likely have a plastic cap on it and if memory serves me right, it's green? You can always look for the lines that come out of the a/c compressor. You'll want the low pressure line.
