Default rear spark plugs, 98 3.8L

hey guys, so i'm trying to get out those pesky back spark plugs and got all but the last one...(the rear one closest to the driver's side) and it seems there
is some kind of sensor or something attached(looks screwed in) to the exhaust pipe RIGHT in front of the darn last plug! i'm wondering IF i have to remove it...cause it looks like there's no way around it for me, and if i were to remove it, would i break it? i can submit a photo if needed, and if i can figure out how to..

many thanks

Its a pain but you can get them without removing anything other than the wires.. I know

how terrible it can be and apparently so did the previous owner of my car.. Front 3 plugs

were not in bad shape when I changed them but there were three different kinds in the

rear of the engine.. I guess the guy just said screw it (two times because one was

still the original that came on the car XD) and didnt change all of them..

The sensor that screws into the exhaust pipe should be the Oxygen sensor and yes you can remove it if you think you need more room.
