Talking Project "Heretic" Build Thread(photoshoot pics now up!)

I am making this thread to update everyone on the progress of my build and where the car is going. For years I have preached all motor and the N/A side of the spectrum. Well after being anti-boost for so long, I have made a choice of heresy and have decided to join the dark side. So to the boosted side I go, full steam ahead so to speak. But now on to the good part, the plan, mods, and what will be going on. So without any more rambling let's get to the good stuff mods and their status are as follows:

Stay tuned this thread may get very interesting...

Quick update, everything(with the exception of the wideband and injectors) was installed and ran great until the rings on my 160K+ engine decided they had enough. Got a 20K L26 I'm getting ready to install the weekend after Christmas. Hopefully it will hold together enough to get some numbers. If anyone is interested I'm going to start a "Help Pacer get an intercooler" fund. Feel free to donate. lol

Yeah man long time....

Actually funny thing iluvcgars(Lou) I ran into him the other day out here in Cali. He's now a first sergeant at one of the other squadrons at my base. Small world huh?

Ground effects are nice I like them. Sucked just having the one side like I did forever. But with them being "Official Pace Car" ones I'm happy.

I have a photo shoot scheduled with a professional photographer in January. Hopefully I'll have the new wheels installed and the engine bay all cleaned up.

Yeah he still had his car, that's what caught my attention. I saw it and was like "That can't be anyone else's car. Unless he sold it to another military guy."

Blazed, were there any install issues with that radio? Crutchfield actually says it doesn't fit.

you have to do very minimal trimming on (I used my die grinder ) on a small black plastic support in the back of the factory location about 1/8 of a inch . You would not have to do that if you don't mind the deck being a little further forward in the mounting kit but I was trying to mount mine flush as possible at most it is 1/4 further forward than mine is . It is up to you .
