po102
i have a 2002 ss 3.8 and my check engine light is on and sometimes it goes off for a drive cycle or two then cmes back on i had the codes read at autozone i they said it was po102 which has something to do with the air system either the maf sensor or vacuum tube hose etc.. well i took the maf sensor off and cleaned it and put it back on but nothing happened would appreciate any help thanks
If cleaning the MAF didn't cure it, and you still get the P0102, you may have to replace the MAF fully.
Do you have a reusable filter on your car that is oiled? Sometimes oiled air filters can ruin a MAF.
The connections for the MAF may be poor also, double check your wiring to make sure it's not broken anywhere.

O ok thanks ill try that..... but no oiled filtter just a regular filter..ok and ill check the wiring while I'm at it....ok a question ? My low collant level light is on and I wanna flush my dexcool out to see if that would help I opened the radiator cap and its sludge on it but I can't seem to get to neither the drain plug or the lowere radiator hose???? Wat should I do?
You'll definitely need to get that coolant flushed and hope it hasn't done any damage. Dex-cool goes to crap if it's mixed with the green stuff, so I hope it's just old and nothing was mixed.
If you can't access the drain points you should take it to a job and really get it flushed. You are right about the sensor just probably being gummed up.

On my 2005 SS thier should be a plastic drain **** bottem left (driver side) on the rad. i think it was like a 5/8 socket not sure... tight spot I thought. It was easier to get it from ontop engine then it was from underneath the car. Make sure you Bleed the bleeder ontop thermostate.
