Default Plug n play scanner?

I'm wondering if anybody could guide me towards a plug n play mpg scanner, maybe something that could also tell me what my sensors are reading to? Or something that could also do slight computer mod? I'm not 100% what I'm looking for so if any body has knowledge of these please share.

Get an Aeroforce gauge. Google it, compare vendors and get the best priced one. It's around 230 bucks.

I use a ScanGauge2, not the best thing, and you can't program the car, but it tells me what I need to know and can delete CELs

Also I got a great deal on it on Amazon a few months back

What about getting a bluetooth connector and an app for your phone? I don't know much about any of the apps but I heard there are some good ones.

Nitehawk have you used the aeroforce? The site says works with 05 and up. And are they somewhat simple to work? Its sounding like a pretty neat tool.

ELM 327

You can scan and read codes, display gauges, all of it. You just can't reprogram with it. Around $30...

That's a pocket friendly price miller the only thing I might want to try n tune on the pcm is the air/fuel ratio my exhaust is rather unrestricted.

It definitely won't let you tune. I love everything else about it though. You can moniter your O2 stats with it, but without a wide band sensor, you won't be able to display A/F data. This is the kind that you plug into a laptop computer. It has paid for itself MANY times over.

You need a wideband scanner to tune your AF ratio, but yes, I have an Aeroforce and it gets the job done. Tons of info available on that thing, you can't modify anything, but it'll tell you just about everything you need to know.
