PCM Operating system limitations
I am running into a few situations with a turbocharged 2003 SS L36.
There are several scaling tricks that you can do to get the car to work OK but in reality the inability of the OS to function under pressure is somewhat of a burden in my opinion.
Does anybody know of a custom operating system for these cars that works with a MAP sensor that actually senses boost and reports it?
HP Tuners doesn;t have one.
EFILive out and out lied to me and told me they were going to support this car and then Cindi turned around and told me that wasn't the case.
RoadRunner can be made to work with this using a decent scanner and Tuner C.A.T.S.
So far If I use a MAP that is over ambient the car shuts down almost like you turn the key off and has to sit for a minute to collect it's thoughts before running again. Currently Boost = Ignition shutdown.
Anybody have an answer?

Wideband is here.
Hybrid file would be cool but I have seen no mention of it for this car on HPTuners.
The biggest deal seems to be that the tables available in the computer don't go past 100 Kpa.
From What I gather Greg Banish is skewing the a few tables past the flow point at 100 Kpa.
Still studying.
Can't remember if i posted it or not but I did fix the heat problem. Custom thick core radiator seems to have done it, even when it is 105 outside.
New engine coming soon.
You know how it goes, If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.

alright my tune works perfectly under boost, but you'll need to change almost everything to suit your setup because theyre so different, but at least its an 03 file that supports boost properly
you will NEED the 2 bar l67 MAP sensor
also i believe you will need the hpt beta to work with my file because of the weird osid i ended up having, if you dont have it i tossed it up too

no problem, i tried getting this base out there for the boosted monte's a while back because i fixed the issue with reporting boost and the car dying, my tune has gotten pretty messy since then but change all the stuff in hpt and you should be good to go.
