I was wondering what is the normal oil pressure gauge indication on a stock, non boosted 3.8L? On my '01 Monte SS w/180k miles, my gauge is indicating slightly below the 1/2 mark on the oil pressure, and once revved or cruising, it's almost to the 3/4 line, and stays there unless I let off gas. I have a couple pictures of my gauges at speed that I can text or email, if that helps?

I'm just wondering if it's an indication that there is a bad gauge, or sending unit, or if there is possibly an issue with my engine/oiling system.

My 02 with 118K has the same readings. The oil pressure reading has been that way since I bought the car new so for me it's normal. I'm just not sure what the actual psi is with the way the gauge is marked.
